I have been reading some of the posts about the commodore + verada brake setup on the 180b strut and i just want to know if you could do all of this to a standard 1600 strunt ?

Would everything bolt up the same .

Any info would help me out.

Cheers.

I think cam mckinnon used to sell this exact setup on his site. It you use the web archive tool you can probably look back on his site cm510.com

Or I think he is also on here somewhere.

Havent been 'in the scene' for quite a few years now, but I did (and still do) use VL turbo (now VY twin spot calipers) and V6 Verada disc rotors (DB425 from memory, without wanting to go to the stack of at least a dozen farked out rotors) on my P510 race car.

The calipers are 'Bolt on' to the Datto Struts, 1600, 180b, Z car etc etc

The issue is the DB425 rotor is drilled five stud to suit the Verada... you can buy them easily from Burson or Repco un-drilled but you then need them machined at the correct 4 stud PCD.

A couple of other 'secret' but simple issues are easily overcome.

Will help you out where I can if you want to message me.

Cheers

you might find that the 1600 hub is to small and floats around in the center of the roter.
