Hey there, I have a datsun 1600 which i have put 200b struts, l18 and twin webbers.
i have recently picked up a booster to fit and need a little help.
I currently have bog standard 3/4 single master, i pretty sure the booster i have is a small can 180b style.
will it bolt on, I have the spacer. How bodgy is it to put a decent bend in the brake line to bring it forward. I have also read i may have vacume issues(big cam) when connected to my dellorto manifold, will i need a one way valve.
Any help would be awesome as my datto is a daily driver and need to get the job done with minimal fuss.

Why do you want a booster...? I wouldn't bother with a light car like a 1600.

You'll only loose feel for the brakes, that's what makes old dattos so good, the rawness of everything.

You need the one way valve.

A booster will reduce the pedal effort needed to brake. It won't actually improve the performance of the brakes themselves.

I had a booster on my 1600... still had plenty of feel. :)
a decent bend will be fine, as long as its a smooth bend - no prob.

and discs on back? .... http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=18664

Cheers, Neil
