Im at the stage of doing my rear end. I got some R31 cailpers.
Looking at baz (datsports) braided lines, and caliper brackets.

Budget has blown over with the unexpected purchase of datsport r31/r33 coil over set up and fitting kit.

So im trying to save some money here If i can .

What is a list of parts I need.

Calipers,
Hand brake cables
Pads
Rotors
caliper brackets
wheel bearings

anything else I have missed?

For other guys who have done this what did it set you back?

I will only be running TRX wheels too.

Depends if yr current wheel bearings are stuffed but i wouldn't buy em... Also, the brackets can be welded/fabricated, or contact Randy at Nissco and he'll make em up for you cheaper than anywhere else.

I recently fitted r30 brakes and calipers to my dat for around $200. But, r30 rotors are not slotted and they are also far more exy than r31 because r31's are far more popular so i rekon you could do it cheaper than that.....

If you are going to change the rear wheel bearings ( which you should if they are original, also when you weld the brackets on the bearings might bind after the job is done due to excessive heat and don't quench the weld ) make sure you buy new locking nuts for the rear axels too. You can buy from Nissan or Baz. Baz has a slightly different nut which is a better item than the stock nut. Have fun cracking the original nuts :)

Mate has a 2-3mt breaker bar for the 1600 :).

I will change the bearings, the car will be used for track so cant afford any small short cuts stopping me on race day.

have i missed anything in my list?

the bolt on adaptors that baz sells, is that better to go or weld on?

weld on is for 260mm rotor.
bolt on is for the 290mm rotor.

You can modify the caliper brackets yourself with a welder, hacksaw, small grinder and some time.

But for the price nissco do them for, you need to decide whats more important, your time (couple of hours) or a few bucks to get a modified set.

I modified mine myself, I just haven't got around to installing them yet cause I need to get the handbrake cable kit from datsport.

I don't like spamming links from my forum on here, but this might be useful to you -> http://www.datfusion.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4
