Updates?
Damo, how do you find the noise inside the car? Do you have the rear seat/parcel shelf area trimmed/sound deadened? Carpet? Yeah good point, I got rid of the wood board and put a alloy piece in it's place. It is noisey now. It might pay to put some carpet under lay under the alloy x-plate. I need to take the top piece off and put some cork as a spacer. cause now it has a rattle noise at idle !!! gerr..... |

hay damo,
Hey Jasol, what springs are you running front and rear? and what struts? cheers mate I'm running 160ft pound king springs (code:khfl-114) and rear 680ft pound king springs (code:kdrl-07) Front struts are 200b cause I'm using the hilux 4spot brakes. but in the new year changing to R31 struts, coil overs with R33 turbo brakes The front springs are way too soft, need to go 275-300 ft pound springs |

Thanks datzcrzy I wanted flared gaurds and I didn't like how the rear number plate sits with spacers. so 23 hours later in metal fab work it looks great ! The SSR - Longchamp rims are 15x7 offset is 11+, but 5+ mags would have been better and fit under the front gaurds better. On the front calipers I have 10-12mm clearance on the Hilux brakes. The rear no problems. plenty of clearance on the R31 calipers. Cheers Damo |
