im in the process of trying to fit 296 dia rotors r32 gtr and 4 spot to a series 3 bluey i have got s12 hubs etc when i fit the hubs to the rotor on the out side the disc hits the lower ball joint so i machined the hub to fit inside the disc now i have the necessary clearance except the 4 spots hit the rim of my 6 spoke mags by the looks of it it would require about a 25mm spacer which cant be right can any one who has this conversion give me some advice thanks bill .

Sorry cant help with the S12 conversion , most common is S13
the 296 mm disc is it the early gtr 32mm thick one , if not try some R33 disc's and calipers as they have a different offset { ??? } to the gtr ones .
I currently run R31 gts/x struts with 324 disc's and Z32 tt calipers with no clearance problems

another option for you is to try or borrow some other wheels
for more specific bluebird tech have you tried http://www.aussiebluebirds.com

depends on the offset of the wheels...

and by the sounds of it you have poor offset wheels, just get some 25mm bolt on spacers

thanks for replys to my problem , ive spoken to baz at datsport and i need 280zx steering arms off bot of strut , a spacer ring which he sells and this gives the strut the necessary offset to allow the disc to sit behind the hub as intended , which in turn sits the calipers with plenty of clearance to inside of rim , will order necessary parts off baz and will let you know how it all fits. my rims are a 40 offset and i picked up some steering arms off another datto enthiuest yesterday
