Guys,

I am chasing some rather specific information on the L-series head. I apologise for not being able to simply measure these things myself, but I don't have easy access to any L parts where I am at the moment.

The things I need are:

1. How far above the head deck surface is the lowest point of both the intake and exhaust valves?

Or put another way, if you have a blank head sitting on a bench, at what valve lift (or cam lift, if you care to provide the rocker ratio which I also don't know) would the valve hit the bench.

I have heard the P90 head's chamber is deeper and hence this value is different. This appears to be confirmed in that the P90 uses shorter valves.

2. What is the ramp angle for standard datsun cams?

3. What is the limitation for valve lift? Once again I apologise for such a simple question, but physically what hits what to stop you using more lift, and what is the upper limit and with what modifications?

Many thanks guys,

If anyone reads this and knows someone not on the forums who might know, please ask them for me if possible. (I am sending an email to Errol)

Dave
