What are these things worth nowadays?

Say one with no rust, original engine, good condition without any permanent modifications (too much cutting into things)..

Is mid to high 30's the going rate?

Seen em for $10-$30k pending cond and mods.
Generally seem to go for twice what an aussie 4dr sells for...

Yeah I thought $38k was a bit rich.

$15k would have got you a nice one 5 years ago but I'm not so sure now..
