wondering if i got a complete 240k strut/rotors and calipers would they bolt straight onto a 1600? are they much better thank the stock 1600 brakes? cheers

Yes and yes.

There are two types of 240k brakes ... twin pot Sumitomo (early) and single pot Akebono (later) ... both will give you a big improvement in braking power but the Sumitomos are generally thought to be better. Both brake calipers mount on the same strut and you can get the sumitomo calipers off 70's Toyotas, too and just bolt them on to your Datsun struts.
