converted front end to sumi style 240k brakes and struts
now the car is running i finally get to drive

when i first hit the brakes, the pedal sinks, but the car still pulls up reasonably
if i pump the pedal just once before i hit the anchors, it brakes beautifully

calipers are not leaking fluid, so i assume the problem is master/booster realted

what is the usual master cylinder or booster upgrade that accompanaies the 240k upgrade?? what is a better replacement if mine is shot??
its only a warm l20 so no extreme ideas are necessary
cheers
Luke

sounds like it needs a bleed
could be a booster on the way out.

well bleeding is the cheapest easiest thing to try :)
getting a result from pumping still sounds like air in the line to me
but it could be a number of other things as well
pistons could be sticking a bit ?
did you put a kit through the calipers when you put them on ?
mc or booster could be knackered
sorry :?

perhaps some of the more venerable minds on this site would care to offer up an opinion :?:
