sorry to bring up an old post but, i have both a '75 and a '77 240k's atm.
the 75 model and the 77 have the same diameter rotors, the earier 75 model had the twin piston sumitomo's, the later model had the akebonos. The brakes are completely interchangeable. i put the twins pots on the later k struts with the later rotor... no probs

i wonder if the coupe rotors (270mm) would fit on the later 240k strut with the twin spot calipers? i doubt it, but you never know with nissan/datsun parts interchangeability :? :?:

I recently bought some 240K struts from a 240K coupe at a local wreckers, and it has the twin spot Sumitomo callipers...

It had 253mm rotors, the callipers were definately the Sumitomo variety though. I have a feeling the car is a 1977 model but I'll check next time I see it.

The twin spots do fit on 200B rotors, I just need a pair of calipers that aren't seized.

mine were siezed when i got 'em, soaked in parts washer for over a week (i forgot i put 'em in there) then blow them out with compressed air... blow them out a bit, tap it back in, then blow it out again.... it will eventually free itself

dont bother using your hobby air compressor either. i had 145psi goin in and it still took a lot of work to get them out

Mine were fine when I got them, then when I was putting them on I broke a brake line, and when I came back with a new one they were seized.

Don't ask me how... I still don't know.
