Having trouble with my 180, since i had my exhaust fixed :evil: to stop it vibrating against the rear cross member it now rubs on the handbrake cable causing it to snap when ever i try and use it. Does anybody have a fix for this or had it happen to them? All i can think of is bashing the exhaust pipe flat but id rather not.

yeah your exhaust should have a bend in it to clear the cable. I've had this problem before also...

Just out of interest, and totally (well not totally) off topic, but is the handbrake in a 180B SSS floor-mounted?

If you want a workaround (I had the same issue on my old 1600).

Get a length of thin round metal, put a loop in the end (around the handbrake cable) , then tack weld it to the floor of your car. Worked for me, and saves you about $120 to mod your exhaust.

Dodgy image I drew in paint to illustrate what I did;

Hope that helps, worked for me.

Thanks for the idea,how long does the cable last before the loop cuts through it?

Personally I would take it back to the shop that did the work and get them to fix it. You shouldnt have to be compensating for someone elses mistake.
