just wondering what most people do who have the plastic C pillar vents on their 1600, how do you go about cleaning them up, as plastic cannot be chromed, can it? or do you just use 'chrome' pressure pack paint or whats the go?

cheers,
dave

1600dave...

Yes you can have plastic "chromed".
Finding someone that can do it is the tricky bit.

I'm currently on the hunt for such a person and when I find them I'll let you know.

Chances are I'll have to send my parts interstate to get done. :(

So you want some more 'bling' on you old datto there, eh sonny?

Try the 'House of Croming' (no, they don't sniff the stuff) in NSW.
They specialise in croming plastic...

early 68/69 metal vents attach from the inside of the car behind the c-pillar trim (i.e cant see any holes or screws from outside the car) and the late plastic ones screw in from the outside...
