My radiator is almost dead amd thinking of ideas for a new one. I am going to put in a SR20DE maybe turbo l8a on. my options were;

*Recore the existing one even though it is missing fins and leaking on the top.
*Get on fabricated based on the original
*Buy a second hand one from the wreckers
*Buy a aftermarket one and fab new brackets.

What would be the best cooling and best outcome.?
What would i expect to pay for a recore or custom made?

Cheers
Ryan

if it's for an L Series i suggest a Ford KC Laser one, i picked up a reco one with new top and bottom tanks and acid bathed for $110. it's like new Alloy body thin for better IC spot and more room for the SR and it has it's inlet/outlet in the right spots.

and you can get a twin thermo setup from a wrecked commo or falcon and it should fit.... i believe, from my measurments thats the go :wink:
