I need to know if any of the datsun Z bolt on fender flares would fit or could be made to fit on my datsun 1000 (b10)

If you wanted to measure the width and height of your guards I can meausre my Z ones and that should give you some indication.

We held a set up to a friends coupe a while back, and whilst they could be sort of made to fit to shape of the car quite well, they really dwarfed the tiny 12inch rims and looked shocking and way too big.

Why only 16's go the whole hog and go a set of 18's :). Would look hilarious, and probably handle hilariously too. If you want to fit Z flares onto a non Z, the ZG style fit ecxellently on the old school 808's and RX7's.

The flares wouldn't make my wheels look small or look dumb because I have 13 inch 235 wide diamond racing wheels and they stick out 2 inches from the car so I wanted to get some flares for it. I also have bfgoodrich radial ta tires.
