Hmmmz I thought they were bolt in. I have a mate whom is running them and he bolted them straight in (so he tells me).

ill second that for bolt in, just need to file keyway of plug like the GTR injectors, but running 550's is only really needed for 250kw+ (gtr will suffice under this figure) and unless they are free or dirt cheap, your better off just buying new rather than getting them cleaned and tested.

there is a chance the injectors u have are not original too

Quick question before i conclude the overly rich afr is causing my misfire.

How many volts power the coilpacks?

12 Volts mate. Aftermarket fuel pumps are known to push the stock fuel reg a bit hard, so check your pressure. Temp sensor also known to cause rich flavors and o2 sensor will cause closed loop and idle richness. CA's also run fairly rich anywho. I can't get mine to idle right above 12. Have heard this many times, they just don't like it. The upside is a cooler engine at idle after a good ol' thrashin :)

Hmmm well when i checked voltage last night, to the center wire on the individual coilpack plug it is 10.3.

Car has never had issues running super rich on idle, actually opposite  Even when it was DE it was prob aroud 17:1 idle :o

Gotta call Dr.DoLittle mid week and try get a time for a tune.

Yeah yeah he'll fix it up. Maybe a dodgy wire somewhere mate as all my coils are getting a healty 12v to 14v.

Car was running, poked thru the back of the plug.

Checked again and has the correct voltage with plug disconnected with just ign on.

ah rydberg :D hes been battling it out with mobness for a while (mobness maxed out at 705hp or something) ive been watching both cars for little inspriations to pass down, but these guys are kinda like cowboys who are mental with boost like 2bar+ lol

kinda reminded me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLB2P1zi ... re=related
2 problems he had, firstly he was making like 300kw on stock internals and they melted :P second its in a crown lol but the engineering is so clean and tidy. definatly a plan if i ever can justify the costs

i think he ran a 12.3 or somthing with a spun bigend so it was a huge torque setup
