Hey guys,
Me again.

I'm looking for information on the vacuum System in my S1 Bluebird 910.

I basically need a diagram or information on where all the vacuum hoses go for the engine. It's been a long time since I took them off and I have lost the piece of paper I noted them on.

If anyone could help me out with a diagram or some detailed photos of the lines in the bay, that would be awesome.

Engine wise.. The car is vacuum and a radiator away from firing up!

My pleasure!
I have the 910 Factory Service Manuals if you need anything else scanned.

Ok, Graham (or any others).

I've now (with your help) routed, or marked (need to grab a bit more line) all of the lines in the image you supplied, but I have another question...

The valve or whatever is in the photos linked below, has one vacuum port on it. I have no idea where it goes to and I cannot find it on your image. It is an Automatic car.
Also am I correct in assuming it mounts where I have it positioned? It has two wires (One goes back into the device itself and the other goes back toward the firewall loom on the passenger side.

Thanks mate.

Hmmmm!
Just a guess, but looking at the Manual could it be the Automatic Choke heater???
Supposed to mount on the upper part of the carb throat.

Or, an electric fuel pump?
In which case it should have two connections, one for fuel in and one for fuel out.

I believe that is this part

http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt21 ... 825561.jpg

which is accounted for.

Fuel pump (does look like it but no inlets haha) is at the back of the car. this just has one vac port (4mm) and two wires which suggests some type of vac switch or solenoid. i might just feed it vacuum and see what happens, as the wires are connected.

If there's an air con fitted or been fitted it might be the idle up valve system from one of the myriad of sublet suppliers to Nissan dealerships at the time. Bob.

Bob it does have AC. Where would the vacuum connect to?

BINGO!
It is the F.I.C.D. Fast Idle Compensating Device.
The vacuum line just looks to be connected to a loop in another hose.
"...connected to intake manifold...."
I have a picture but my lunch appointment comes first :)

OK, back from lunch :cheers !
Here is the description of the Fast Idle Actuator or F.I.C.D.

Looks to be mounted on the inner wheel arch adjacent the Air Cleaner :? :?
