hey,

the bonnet jammed on my 69 1600. the lever in the cab is stuck. anyone had this problem before? and if so whats the best way of sorting it out?

Maybe undo the grill and reach under and pull the cable towards you near the latch and it should open, and fix it from there

Get another person to put downward pressure on the front of the bonnet while someone pulls the lever.
You may need to adjust the upper bonnet latch bolt if its too tight to open...
