Hey guys, after a place that sells flares for a 200b or something that will fit. Just **** up on width of the rims that I just bought (16x8 0 offset) :? and they stick out a little. I really hope I can get flares as I don't want to sell these as I only just bought them.

Thanks, Ben.

You'll be fine in a 200B. Can you post a pic up off how they sit? Provided the car doesn't look low you'll be fine.

It shouldn't be a massive problem... all you could really say is that you swapped the wheels as you needed new tyres and they were cheap and you didn't know they were sitting out further as you don't really know much about cars.

having problems with image shack so i'm going ti have to post photos individually

The back is about 1/2 an inch out from the guard whilst the front is a little hard to tell as when you jack it up the spring depresses and forces the rim to lean forward but id say it would be out by about 1/2 an inch as well.

Only problem you may have on the rear is the tyres rubbing on the wheel arch/guard.

yeah i'm thinking it will scrub, the 235's ive got on it now scrub so maybe a slight roll might fix that?
should I just try and sell them or give them a go? It was trouble enough finding rims in such a low offset.

235's on the back of a 200b? on the front too? See what Al says as he's far more 200b experienced than me but i recon they are just too wide mate, they'll scrubs for sure... i has 195/50/15's on my 180b and they scrubbed when turning, wasn't an issue on the rear though as the offset was right. Good luck with all mate.

yeah that's what is on the back at the moment and it clears the front as well without any drama's but with the new wheels im thinking 215/40 so it should be a slight stretch so it may clear the guards alot nicely

Definately run a narrower tyre. Try a 205 and see how that goes. If it's still an issue and you're set on those wheels try rolling your guards too. Alternatively, I remember a while ago a member on here called svd001 was selling flared guards for 200Bs, you could try seeing if he still has any? Although with a guard roll and a narrower tyre you should be okay. Just make sure you have some decent springs in the back. Do you have any pictures of the car sitting with the tyres and wheels on?

205's scrubbed on the rear of my 200B with standard height springs.

195/65's rub on the sway bar on the front at full lock.
