I like it, but paint the the whole grille black leaving just a single stainless line around the outside. Or get a 73 grille |

Nope. I reckon it looks really really dodgy and has diminished the granny spec look you are going for. Sell it to me... |

Middle of the field Nik, not bad considering it was my first event and i was there really to cut my teeth and gain some experience. A decent handbrake and getting familar with the course would have helped A vid of one of the runs. Not very exciting, but interesting to see how well the car sat through the corners. http://13thstudio.com.au/exe-deca/b34_orange_datsun.mp4 |

Nice work Mate. Car sits well on the road in the vid. And doesn't look to have as much acceleration squat as most SR 1600s. |

Most of the time acceleration squat also has something to do with traction |

]Recently decided to upgrade my intercooler which was easy in theory, but that meant i had to totally re-think the way i had my radiator, hoses and support panel. Picked up a 400x 300 cooler (thanks ForumJockey) and pulled apart the old setup. Had to reweld pieces of sheet back into the support panel to repair holes left from the old cooler, then cut out the lower section of the panel to accommodate the new cooler. Folded and touched up the repair (dont look too closely at the panel work ) Attachment:
Next, i mounted the cooler and checked clearances. Unfortunately, the radiator now sits further back , meaning more modifications. Top and bottom outlets were removed and await re-welding.
