Very cool!!!!

That rear lamp assembly is not only awesome, but bloody unique. I know no other 610/180B "In The World" with that tail light assembly.

You are one lucky man.....I take that back, no luck involved, you have worked dilligently on this car, including looking , purchasing and installing this tail lamp assembly. Can't wait to see the final product.

:cheers Cheers!

well heres more pics between me and dad we wanted better results i have got a mate of mine MIKE whos a spray painter to lightly wet rub and polish the respray its a hugely time consuming job and we used to work together on the same restos many times so i know the quality is good.
I have started puting bits on and its all looking like a car again theres is quite a few more hrs to correct the job but its going to be worth it and mike is also a datsun fan so its a team effort of enthusiast the way it should be :)

more pics to come and im still sourcing parts :P

I second that comment. Nice overriders. Let me know if there are other sets around. Need a set of overriders for my 180B Hardtop.

Any progress?????

Cheers.

yes all the polishing of the paintwork is finished and i aquired a nice set of sill chromes with min damage that are polished up then just went for a drive and bought new chrome screws .
I think i will actualy leave them alone and just put them on im also waiting on my back bumper to be finished that i have a set of overriders for that aswell :).
As for the overiders had to repair and repaint them in a trim paint black and the bolts were damaged usualy story with those things.

arrrrrrrrg "DOUG" not dough lol

well this week my boss at work gave me some steel and i used the welder to fabricate up my own reflector holders which they had over in japan on the rear bar of the 2000gtx 610.
I then looked at a few pics and made a copy i believe to be pretty close to look at and painted them in 180sx gunmetal grey there not a bad fit but hey i couldnt buy them i had to make a pair and i only spent 35 minutes including paint time all up cost 20 dollars

Sorry Doug, typo error...

Have not seen details on the rear of the 2000GTs. But early 180Bs and 160Bs had reflectors on the rear bumpers.

Great job on those reflectors.

Cheers.
