i have a 240k twins on front, R31 rears, with a 13/16 dual master,(no booster) i have removed the residue valve from rear, after some heavy braking, my brakes keep some pressure on them, so much that i can't even rotate the wheels by hand, both on the front and rear, and after a day or so they slowy release pressure, the master is fully depressed? any help would be great. thanks Heath

Have you had the calipers serviced / overhauled? Sounds like there is something holding the pistons out.

I used a commodore MC and had to put a plastic packer on the shaft that presses the MC to stop the problem that your having. maybe thats your issue ?

i just drained the F reservoir, got a pin and try to clean the return valve in the master, re-bled front brakes, just to it for a spin, and didn;t notice any problems, 2 people have told me that its not releasing pressure from the release valve, i might have had some sh*t in the small hole in the bottom of the reservoir. hopefully this fixed the problem as the master is fully returning, if it comes back i'll bump the thread again
thanks Heath

had the same prob. Your MC is the wrong size I changed mine to 120y 7/8 with booster no more braking probs (oh except the brusie on my forhead  ) I Suggest you speek to Specialist Brake Supplier not just a service centre.

A quick fix though is to bleed the MC this will get you home

hi all,

just got my car back the other day, this brake problem still happens
it's only the fronts they stay locked on, and it's only after heavy braking,
If the calipers where sticking, would the brake pedal be rock hard, and have no movement?
thanks Heath
