Hey guys
Doing an s13 sr20det into my 1600. I know a lot of people do battery relocation to the boot? Is this necessary for room? If so, what's the easiest way to remove with minimal damage as the engine bay is already painted (bought car with l18 in it, body work all done)

Thanks in advance

I havnt done this for ages but think i just used an 8mm 'spot weld drill bit' and carefully drilled just the mount welds and not through to the engine bay metal...

It depends on how you want to run your intercooler piping. If you want massive piping all over the place you'll definately have to relocate the battery. There might be a way without though.
