below is a pic of my side mirrors (are they 200b mirrors??) no, my arms are not that fat.

if anyone else has these mounted to a 1600 sedan, could you please give me the measurements/reference points for drilling the mounting holes. my orginal holes were covered during paint n panel.

There are NO reference points for a 1600 mirror.
The mirrors we not fitted ex factory on OZ produced 16s.
They came in a box in the boot.
They were fitted by the dealers. So they will vary in position.

I have these Sunny mirrors on my 1600 too. I try and mount them close to the front of the door mainly for aesthetic reasons (so it blends with the window frame and a-pillar) but found they dont have much adjustment outwards when placed that far forward.
I'd recommend you sit in the drivers seat as though you are driving and have someone else hold the mirror on the door for you so that you can angle the mirror and see if you get the vision behind you that you require before you mount it.
Try and place them between 100 and 300mm from the front of the door and see what you think.
Look for pics of 1600's with these mirrors on them to give you an idea of what they look like in different spots on the door.
Couple pics here:
