lads,

just wondering if you can get undercoat or highfill in any colours than boring old battleship grey?

doing some body work today, funds wont allow it to be painted before datnats, and dont want to bring a multi coloured half sanded car along, haha.

Options?

Some nice earth colours would be cool.

You can buy black primer. I've used it a few times.

just use the grey primer and add a colour tinter to it but keep in mind what colour you are painting the car as the colour of the primer may affect the colour you want

I've been using Protech Epotec 2 pac epoxy primer - its a real pale greenish-grey colour (comes in other colours as well). Only $100 or so for 4 litres, hardeners and thinners as well :chaching:

Its a close-ish match to the original pale green on my old 1600

Tinter in primer as mentioned above works too - that's what I usually use for a guidecoat, the leftovers from wahtever I painted last mixed into the primer

hey yeah you can add direct gloss colours to primer, PPG also do a k93 primer which comes in a range of colours and is also a highfill.

:)
