Anyone know what the difference in hight is on the two struts??

in regard to the vt commo twin piston calipers on a 180b strut. Yes the bolt hole spacing is right, but the verada disk is not the minimum thickness for this caliper even when new.

I had the same problem when i bought some hilux calipers and verada rotors. The 240k strut ears were the smaller type. After months of trying to find the right struts with the correct offset i gave up and engineered around the problem.
I made up a dogbone piece of plate and welded it to the original ears on the strut.
I milled the mounting face flat then annealed the weld and toughened using controlled cooling in industrial lime.
The holes were then redrilled, tapped and the calipers installed where i wanted

see a photo of the weld below.

* note do not attempt this unless you know what your doing. Without heat treating a stress fracture can be created along the weld and it can crack.
