Peters, I know it's a little late but a couple of months ago there was a discussion over on Datsun1200.com about using an FM radio out of an R30 Skyline with a plug in the back so you could play an I-Pod through the existing radio. They even mention the terminal to put 12 volts to to cancel out the normal radio operation, so you don't have to find a quiet place on the radio before you play your own music. A fellow in Adelaide has a Sunny with SR20 who did this, through an old amp he had lying around. I've done the same myself with fm radios a out of N12 Pulsars or Bluebirds or even Stanzas. I have a Sunny at the moment with an aftermarket radio cassette player in exactly the same place as you've got the CD Player & it's a real pain when you're in traffic. I find that when you have to reach across to adjust the volume or change channels you take your eyes off the road for too long. It would be much easier if you had a remote for the CD. I plan to change over to an AM/FM radio in the stock position & play my CD's on a portable CD player I'll keep hidden in the glovebox. I also have an old graphic equaliser that I plan to use as an amp.

Black wheels would make it.

Deep dish 13X8 front, 13X10 rear. Lowered. 215.50/13 tires. The 120Y wheel tub takes 8 and 10 widths. Nice Y.

I will be selling this 120Y in the next couple of months. If your at all interested in it please let me know.

I have a work car now and the Calais i own has had to much time & money invested in it to part with.

I also found some 14" Dragways with good tyres so i put them on the car.

It still lives! (10yrs later!). We just bought this one, it still has the 14'' dragways, the tint, the stereo under the glovebox, the amp under the seat & 6x9's on the parcel shelf, no longer on lpg but most of the gas system is still there - has a 32/36 dgv webber on it, way too rich but I should be able to jet it down. Has a bit of rust in the sills but its really tidy for a 42 yr old car.
Would be awesome if anyone knows how to restore the pics in this thread?
Here's a few new ones -

Pity its not quite as nice now as when 'Peters' owned it - it copped a few bangs and scrapes in the last 10yrs... Nothing we cant fix though
