Hi one and all,A simple question here, re-- "what is the relaxed length of the rear coil springs for my standard 1970 1600." sedan.
Nearly finished this standard rebuild as near as possible to stock standard.
The original springs I had reset 15 mm longer due it was sitting down at the back prior to the rebuild. However the car is now sitting with the wheels sloping in about 5 degrees,no more bits to fit so weight is right.
Can get new springs from Bursons which come wired up in the compressed state ,specs don't give you the relaxed length.
The manual gives several different lengths for the relaxed length ?!
Shocs have also been replaced KYB 553295.
Cheers and thanks for interest.
Howard.
