Hey all i can do most trimming for your cars...

http://www.ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8988

Just let me know what you need and we can go from there...

I dont do dash vacum vinyl covering only trimming, there are endless possibilities of what can be done its really up to you, logos in door trims and seats

I have access to leather, suede, vinyl, canvas, carpets + more

Most people do their own door trims and really skimp on the seats opting to throw covers on them but seriously a re-trimmed cover is the way to go... I see so many cars with those crappy red sheet thingos on them and man they look so low budget and crap

Alot of trimmers choose boring black or grey velour and i really wanna give people the option of having something that stands out and makes their car different to the rest

I get alot of wow factor when people get in my cars theres always hidden logos and stuff to keep the eyes busy and its all quality work

Anyhow you have a interiors section so i thought id make a post so you know where to go...

Simon

Checked your link.. Mostly uphostery. Nice work

Are you an uphosterer that does trims or do you trim like a trimmer?

Hey im a Upholsterer that does trim...

I was getting into motor trimming but decided to be a upholsterer cause and upholsterer can do motor trimming, but not many motor trimmers can upholster furniture

And i wanna be able to work from home when i retire and still do cashies, i always have my friends parents pull me aside to get their stuff done.

Car seats are sewn up the same way as we do seat cousion covers so anyone with a industrial machine who can sew can do car seats, i have done almost 10 cars so far so im not just sayin i can

You will find most of car trimming is spent in and out the car upside downor unbolting seats really shitty work, but as i said i can sew seats up in almost any design so just wanna let you all take advantage of it...

Ps. I hate puttin roofs in thats y mine is currently hanging from the car not glued in, but i can do that if needed

Hope i answered your question

Simon

Your stuff looks pretty good, I don't suppose you could do a short writeup or how-to on trimming for the rest of us novices / backyarders?

I'd be happy to use your services but unfortunately i'm in sydney and most of these sydney trimmers prices are an absolute joke.

Strip the seats
Send the covers down, around and over to Simon to use as a pattern
or template.

And just ship back the finished item.
Unless you want the old trim back.

Easy Peasy

No need to pay excess freight to ship the steel frames and springs or foam blocks
around OZ.

Stephen.
And if it all works out I'll take my cut or drop my seats in for a freebie.

Thanks for that Stephen... Yes that can be done

If anyone is from another state your more than welcome to send me your covers to get redone, As stephen said we use the old cover as a pattern to save time, it is possible to make it without covers but i would need a seat frame and foam to go by tho

Any questions about any of this can be asked either here or by a PM when you wanna start talking schemes and pricing...

I will do most ozdat members a substantual discount... Some can get stuffed tho

I have some new pics to put here in the next week or so. I can do all makes and models it doesnt bother me, and its totally upto you what you want it done in

Currently im working on my red 1600 with full pale tan leather, my mates VE green 1600 in full black leather with green twin needle stitching and doing some for my 1000 wagon in between things

Simon
