A mate is transfering his rego to qld and was looking for the name of a sympathetic mechanic. He has been to a couple who have turned him away on some pretty silly things (you know the kind who just dont want to deal with older cars). Rego runs out in a week and he is getting desperate, any help would be great.

Cheers mate, I have PMed him. My mate isnt looking for anything dodgy, just someone sensible. One guy told him that he wanted the motor rebuilt - which to me says "I dont want to touch that car unless you make it worth my while"

hey bob, long time no speak.
i just had my zed rego'ed up here from nsw rego.
the rwc fella rocked up, filled out his rwc certificate on the bonnet. didnt check a thing, not even lights,brakes, nothing!!!
i paid him, then he jumped back into his kingswood ute(which barely started) and drove off.
i can give you his number.
