Hello all,

well, i have finished the orange car, and the chasis came up really well. have had a few bits painted this week, so all set for the Jamboree this weekend.

My 1600 was on display down at the Speed on Tweed on Sunday, what a great event this is, and the tribute to brockie was incredible to witness. Including the president of our car club GCTMC, given the Honour of driving the '79 round australia car, that had not been driven, washed, or even had an oil change since finishing the event 27 years ago!!!!

But the moral of th story is that 2 weeks ago i found a shell that is as close to perfect as i have seen. So im going to do another car, as ther has been a bit of interest in the orange one too.
Planning on full cage this time, and an L18, hopefully to built to suit the new tarmac rally regs.

will post photos as things progress.

Alex where was your car displayed? I went down on saturday morning and only saw a few Z's there.

Orange one will be at Jamboree all weekend. in the Tuned automotive tent.
(only because i get a free shirt)

should be good weekend. are you doing the ironman jeff, or just the sprint?

Sorry luke the car was only down there on sunday. I only finished putting it back together sunday morning.

Was in behind the Bowdens tent up near the fenceline.
