G'day, I'm putting a Stanza SSS 5spd gearbox in my 1600 with an L18. Just wondering what everyone uses for the crossmember under the gearbox. The standard 1600 one certainly doesn't reach, and I've tried modifying it, but it still doesn't get anywhere near the mounts on the floor. Any suggestions would be appreciated  Rod F |

I've used a 180B gearbox Xmember. You do have to drill new holes in the floor and reinforce them, but it works a treat.  Cheers, |

i put a bluebird trx box in mine. Just turned all the mounts on the box around 180 degrees which moved the holes foward and then everything lined up perfect. Maybe it is the same for the stanza box ?[/list] |
