Boys,

Just a thought, but if you read the threads on this topic its classic.

Perhaps a Queensland entry for the datnats in 07? any takers.
I am sure between a few of us (read SYNDICATE) we could put together something fun, and split costs and labour.

Ok was at a mates place today and reckon i can get a whole TRX Bluebird with 5 speed for $100-$200 the body is stuffed but the rest of it seems ok, even has the 5 wheels with tread too.

His cousin has a worked Bluebird with a rusted body which also has a Stanza works lsd in, might see what else i can find then we just really need to find a good shell of some nature. 200b sx if we can find one could be a goer?

mmm, this sounds like it could end up being something.
there was also a 180b coupe in the trader for $400 this week.

we have a two factories, and a spray booth now... so that bit is easy. I can weld. we just need go fast motor bits.

A mate of mine clled me yesterday, and has a CA18DET with loom ad turbo (stocker) we can have for $200. apparently it runs. he just bought 5 of them.

ive got a bluebird gearbox, and stacks of wheels. lots of 1600 parts. but... there are two 120y's in the trader today for $200 the pair

that leaves a fair bit of coin to get it going better. thoughts anyone.

EDIT: 100th post...YAY

Im going to have a look at 200b that apprently is all good, the interior has been stripped out as it was going to be a rally car, i will let you know more about it tomorrow after i have seen it.

Its cheap though $600 and its just had a respray, the girl reckons if you put the interior back in it would pass for a safety cert no worries.

i like these ideas you guys got but i reckon a poobird s3 with the ca18det would be a goer. couple of Qs does it have to be regoed? what will it be used for?
