Hi guys...

Been meaning to post these before and after pics for quite literally years but I figured that since this car is going to be making way for my coupe project, I'd better get some pics up ASAP!

Looks very neat and tidy. Engine bay looks like new. Bet that would be fun to drive and good on the fuel.

Please keep the pictures coming.

Thanks for the positive comment... I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the coupe so I can give it the same treatment... I've also played around with the interior... I'm seeing the sedan as the 'practice' car and the coupe the 'real' project.

The pic of the coupe is my 'model' so to speak. I figure if I can get it looking like that one, I'll be a happy camper !

I have to admit I'm a bit partial to the OEM look even though that coupe looks interesting. should only be another week or so before I get my hands on my own then the work can begin !

Will keep pics of the project coming... The sedan will be going to Team Dat as soon as I get the coupe over the pits so thankfully it won't meet a sad end !

Well the fuel tank is currently out and i have few more things to do before she goes back together, then i hope she will see the road again. such a shame for her to sit liek that.

and then i need to tackle some rust that is showing up.

well fuel was to blame for those playing at home. the las 2 litres to be drained from the tank were psot it note yellow, and as cloudy!!!

but she is a runner again, and as in perfect datto fashion she has developed another issue. there is a 1 inch crack in the exhaust manifold, so because i hate undoing exhaust flange bolts that are so hard to undo, i am taking her in soon to get the extractors put on with a 2" exhaust, as it still has the standard drinking straw, which should let her breathe freely now!

pics to come when done!

exhaust and extractors are fitted as is a reco brake booster!

so much more fun to drive now that she breathes and also now i have rigged up a "rough" fix for the throttle cable....
