Title says it all.

240Z FIA homologation papers (photocopies)on Ebay ????

Anyone care to shed any light on what good these would be???

Would the FIA/Cams etc even except .pdf/photocopies (and poor ones at that)??? :?: :?:
The seller has lots of these for sale for all kinds of cars.

Wouldn't the fact that the FIA would have this stuff all on record make these papers useless ???

I would think maybe it'd be for proving certain modifications are legal to other organisations, CAMS etc.

Find me one that says the 240Z came with an L28ET and I'll _______ __________ ________.

My ex-rally 1600 came with a set of FIA homologation papers that look pretty much like those ones on eBay. They were also stamped and signed as being CAMS-ratified.

They show all the details of the 1600, weights, suspension heights, engine component sizes (ports and the like), and so on.

And like the ones on eBay, they are just about unreadable :!:

I suppose that in the good old days, dodgy photocopies would have been all that was available. No PDF's or digital images or the like in 1970 :!:
