That's right Lurch, yesterday i had Beattie-Z, DNSV1600 and son and Lampy come around and give me a hand with the koop, and she runs once more, fire breathes through her insides once again. (and out of the carby and headers a few times but we won't mention DNSV's lack of arm hair....)

the front suspension is sorted
the brakes are hooked up
the engine bay is nearly complete, 2 brake line flares and a leaky hose left
and a shortened tailshaft then i'm just about there.

i will try to upload some video and let you all see it. here are some pics in the meantime.

thanks man, we got heaps done so now it's up to me with the rest, but there isn't much left. it's getting exciting and there is no better way to get motivated than to fire up the engine for the first time in it's new home.

does anyone know how much variance you can have between cylinders when doing a compression test? how much difference can there be between cylinders?

and what should they be around?

On the old Z I had two cylinders down around 90psi and the rest up around 150 - but it wasnt the healthiest thing getting about.

Well more progress last night, bit of 3 steps forward one step back....

but i have all the brake lines connected now, after much swearing cutting of hands and bollocking of the clutch master hose nut, things went wel.

the cooling system is leak free now :D

there will be fuel in the tank tonight, and hopefully a working pump, i'm going to take it apart and have a look if i have no joy.....

ANYONE IN PERTH WITH AN L FUEL PUMP PM ME!

anyway update pics.

the pic of the headers is for bob260, and the pic called next trick is the second stage of the "koop reborn"
