Well i have called both Lexus and Toyota, and they can't get a price or order me a part unless i have a VIN number from my car. due to compliance. what a load of arse.....

anyway, i'll keep on looking.

on a plus new engine mounts will go in this week, and if there is a break in the weather i will pull the brake lines from the white coupe and stick them in the blue one. bleed them and then she is a deffinate driver!

So after talking to Datsport. the Toyota 90 degree speedo drive doesn't fit. they are doing the same conversion with same gearbox.

i have decided to cut the mount area on the body and get it braced. what does everyone think?

i know Pro's thoughts but i would like anyone with any thoughts to post them, i have tried to cut the least possible on this car, and this is one thing i'm a bit hesitant but if it costs no more than some beer and will be fine i'll do it.

i'll just never be able to go A series in it again.... I'll just need to go BIGGER! *sniggers*

Is it an area that you are able to 'modify' with a hammer?

i think doing such a modification with a hammer would make it look even worse than cutting it off and boxing it off.....

I will take photos tonight. then we will all know what i'm talking about!

okay so i know how i'm going to fix the speedo issue, and will be doing so this weekend i hope as well as fitting the front brake line. the new line is in for the rear. i love progress on loathsome jobs, as you get really pumped about it.

i bought the car a present as i was so happy with it, which is a rocker breather filter. one of the little chrome ones. probably a bit wanky boy racer but she needed a present for being such a good girl

so after this weekend if i have brakes the car can be driven down for a whell alignment and exhaust fix, and then it's off to get the tunnel fixed and a tune.

and then the big day!

for the record, it's World of Warcraft, and i don't play it too much, if i did the missus would kill me!

i have found a fix for the speedo, and will be doing it once the front brake line is in.

i was hoping i had found a stumpy box but alas i had not....

i need to weld on a patch to the trans tunnel for where i put the new gearstick hole, but thats about it. 3 things.....

i shall get updated photos on here soon!

 too many funny things that day!

sounds good with the exhaust on now, just need it moved a bit as it is too close to the tailshaft. but that will be fixed when i take it for a wheel alignment.
