hey all,

Should we all organise a Melbourne cruise? Maybe start close to city or st kilda with quick show shine then 1hr cruise (similar to albert park but less show more drive) .

who would be interested in coming along?

OK - So it seems we have a few takers for a Melbourne Cruise,

Considering Easternats starts Friday 18th, how about a friday night cuise starting at 8:00pm? I reckon a meet at St kilda marina, or Chapel st. Safeway carpark, or Hawthorn Glenferrie Coles carpark, but if anyone can think of somewhere better, then post it up. BUT - lets finalise this b4 wednesday night this week so we can get it right. ALL cars are welcome but the more 1600's the better. Lets get a good showing going people...

Post subject:  Not Chapel st

There will be more cars then normal, going up and down chapel like last year. The St kilda marina is not bad haven't they made the car park smaller I just want some where the cop's don't cheak all the time because I don't like defect sitkers. The time sounds good. The thing is it looks like we are going to have about 7 car why is no one interested in Cruiseing in melboure?

Yeah i agree with the whole defect sticker issue. Maybe Hawthorn Glenferrie Coles Carpark would be a good starting point. StKilda and Chapel are prime spots for coppers to be arseholes that weekend....

friday 18th 8pm, count me and my 1600 in. as already stated lets meet somewhere reasonable quiet, chapel will be packed, st. kilda or albert park would be good i reckon.

do we know whats goin on yet?? post some exact details, i reckon the tooronga village carpark (cnr, toorak and tooronga rd's in hawthorn) sounds good. No cops around there, and its reasonablycentral to everyone.

Ok that sounds like a good location.

I thought that it should be finalised by tonight, so the tooronga village carpark (cnr, toorak and tooronga rd's in hawthorn) is where we will meet at 8:00pm firday. It is right near the South Eastern Freeway, and there is a big Coles Supermarket and other shops there. Check www.whereis.com.au if you need help finding it. If anyone has an idea of a second meeting place for late people perhaps we could incorporate that into the route we will take, and if anyone wants to go a particular route, post it below please, or let everyone know on the night.

I am inviting a few people with 1600's who do not get online, to try and get a good turnout of people and cars. Lets make it a good night ppl.
