if you want to save yourself some money and effort, just head down to autobarn. checked at work yesterday and we can get these (some stores may not be able to get them), theyre only $20 each for the HANSA 5 3/4" 150W, 2 pin sealed units. part number for em is 9071 if you needa ring and ask first.
and as for the Narva conversion kits, 12V 60/55W H4 kit comes with lenses, dust covers and 60/55w globes. price was $109. part number is 72048
they also make a 100/55 kit which uses same lenses just comes with different globes.part number for that kit is 72050
not sure what the retail price for this was, but i was going to go the 60/55 kit as it was cheaper for me with the my discount, and i am then going change the globes to 130/100w (48951) anyway

i'll get the price for the 100/55w kit and edit this post

Just be carefull here.
The Hella specials are the only ones I know of that will take these globes.
Most std reflectors will turn blue (discolour) after a while if you leave the lamps on when you are stationary or driving slowly. The extra heat cooks the reflectors.

yeah i know i've heard about this happening.
turbovan said its the setup he runs and didnt mention iany problems, so i assume it should be alright.
i'll price up the hella lenses but they'll no doubt be bloody expensive just like all the other hella gear.
but as the saying goes, get what you pay for!

ended up not being able to get those landing lights, so went all out and got hella 100W long range beams :)
spose i should have got the H4 hella kit too, but at approx double the price of the narva kit i couldnt justify the extra expense....until the lenses discolour anyway.

chris did you have to grind out a small area of your headlight holders due to the earth terminal on the lens fouling, on your H4 narva's?

I paid $63 all up for a pair of 7'' H4 lenses, with 80/100w globes. I think the brand of the lenses is "Autopal".... cheap yet affective. I have those in my Sunny. I also have a pair of those Hansa 150 watters in my RX3, I paid around $20 each for them. (All this was bought at autopro.)

Dave, you mentioned using an RB30 alternator, how hard are they to fit? Do you need to make a custom bracket or mess around with them too much? because Im gonna need a bigger alternator when I put on my Hella Rallye 4000's

No Dave I did not grind anything, from memory i think i just bent the tab out of the way. Don't really need to earth the light anyway.

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams mentioned on page 1 and 3? They aren't showing up and I'd like an idea how the wiring goes
