We installed an aftermarket tacho in my mates 1200 ute / CA18de. We tapped the tacho wire onto the signal wire on the ecu (red and grey)? the tacho works fine when you accelerate slowly, but as soon as you stab the throttle the tacho needle just drops down until you back off the throttle.???

can anyone please help.. Thankyou
