Post subject:  L16 Stanza Engine Differences

I have an old Datto 1600 it came with a form of log book in the form of a school exercise book which is hand written it states that it is has a Stanza block crank and rods and a 180B head that has been angle planed and bolt faces spotted to suit it also says that it has an offset ground crank, now this car has been sitting for a loooong time and is definitely old school build can somebody explain the advantage of these mods , particularly the stanza block and crank , I believe the stanza rods may have had larger bolts but my datto engine building is very limited so any help would be appreciated
