Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm Datsun fanatic. I'd like to share with you some interesting bits about the local Datsun E20 we had. Almost 80 000 were produced in South Africa. I believe the international production stopped in 1981 but it continued this side till 1996. From '81 on they were fitted with the L18 motor and sometime in the late '80s they had 5 speed gearboxes until the very last model, they were also facelifted from the mid '80s onwards. I'll share some pictures of the later models which remain the most common in South Africa. Enjoy!
