Hi all, just purchased a 79 Datsun P430 - 280C. first time poster. The car is in great condition for a paddock find. No pics as yet. have just washed it and cleaned it up. Apart from small rust spots in sill and front guards and along the bonnet front. it came up better than expected. I am in need of glass for the driver's door, have rung all wreckers in the area and no luck. Can some one point me in the right direction or has anyone have one of these? It will be a great project car as it is all original with 216,000 ks on the clock, and it started easily after sitting around for 18 months. |

Also what colour is it - some have a blue tinge to them - i may have something although sending to aus could be risky. let me know and ill see what ive got |

Hi Jack,
430's only come out sedan, pillar-less sedan and wagon, 330 last model of the coupe.Is it a coupe or sedan? I better ask if its pillarless or not too. |

If you find a 430 at the wreckers, please let me know! I haven't had any luck around Melbourne because the wreckers usually crush theirs after they sell the power steering unit. You should be able to get glass from Japan for reasonably cheap, especially yahoo.jp, but shipping cost is pretty rough. Looking forward to pics |

Well I found a glass but it came with a whole car. So it is now in my shed. So I shall be wrecking the green 430, the one that is mentioned above and most parts will be available. In outer eastern suburbs of Melb, pick up only. or I shall dismantle and store the parts as spares. |
