Hi guys,

I have a 1600 with a s14 sr20DE about to get engineered and planned to be driven daily.
can anyone suggest an air box that will fit in the engine bay easily.
I searched the forum and couldn't find any.
But if it does exist if someone could point me in the right direction that will be great.

Cheers

Well, this worked for my FJ20: -

From a VK/VL Commodore

The original air intake is blanked off and I installed a cold air intake duct to the base of the box.
It draws air from behind the front bumper bar through the radiator support panel.

Although mine is a 180b, I moved the battery bracket to the passenger side and mounted the standard s14 air box in its place.

Nice solution - that looks great.....congratulations!

BTW, can you tell us more about your conversion - am doing a similar one (using an S13 SR20DE into 1600) and was interested in what radiator, and what top and bottom radiator hoses, you used?
