I know each head will bolt onto the l16 but with stock l16 bore size are there any issues with valves hitting the bore sides etc?
A87 no hitting
w53 no issues
u67 no issues

V912 ??????

I believe if a head has a 1.38 exhaust valve and a big cam it could hit the bore..(L16)
I have a W53 but has the 1.30 size valves

I assume the V912(sss) and the U67 have 1.38 size valves

I seem bores notched/relieved around that area

you can bore out your L16 2mm EZ use L18/20 bore pistons if you can find flatops

That's what I vaguely remembered and wanted to check.

No need to bore it currently as it's got l24 pistons in the l16 so flat tops already

The motor is already done, I've used it since 2008. Just needs a new head
