Hi All,

Picked up this 71 1600 2 years ago, slowly been saving the cash to do everything in one big hit... will be a show & street car with some power behind it hopefully be ready for sydney motorex 2015.. was meant to be finished last year but due to life complications as we all get... had to put this on hold... but come november ill be in full swing to get her finished

Came with an L18 Motor, 4 speed and webber.. (if anyone wants to buy them let me know!)

Another shot of my 1600 with one of my ke10's behind it

Since getting it.. i stripped it out completely

It's been completely sandblasted due to having crappy paint on it and i really wanted to see if she had much rust.. luckily she only had a little bit in the rear quarter which ive got the replacement panel for! the rest is tiny 5c pieces which can be done easily!

So the plans were originally going to be .. somewhat stock and a nice cruiser.. but after going in my mates [68DATO]... the budget has had to be increased and yeah.. needs to have the SR20
then full retrim, new baremetal paint work and a really tidy engine bay... hoping to get some decent power out of it and also engineerable so that i can drive it to work or out and about without TOO many hassles from the boys in blue haha

That shell looks to be in awesome condition, good luck on the build! Having a mate with one already built takes a lot of the guess work out of it.
