Hi All,

when using plastigauge to measure con rod bearing clearances, should I put a strip between both half shells and the bearing journal or only one half shell and then assume if one is right both will be ok.

I've already measured the crank for ovality and consistency across the journals from inside to out.

This is for a 3 cylinder yamaha engine but i figure its still the same as a datto.

cheers

Cam

one strip per journal is all that's required.
