First time I've done a build thing on here
Well This is my Datto 1600 im building into a gravel rally car, It will be running a FJ20,RB30 box maybe and R180 5.1 with Kazz Lsd centre and custom commodore Irs drive shafts.
Brakes will be front R32 calipers with rotors to suit and RX7 series 5 calipers on rear with rotors to match.
Suspension will be custom 50mm Ohlins coil overs with 46mm pistons, Nothing but the best (suspension is my day job)
Cams approved Bond Roll bars Steel weld in roll cage.
Sparco evo seats
And all the finer details to come !!

Here is a pic with the Flares I was thinking of running, but now im thinking of going with the 60 refresh type from japan
Does anyone know of someone in Aus that makes a copy of the 60 refresh ones ?

I bought this Datto off a Fella on here just cant remember his name hope you might notice the car, Belonged to a police man from around Cronulla was doing it up for his girl friend and had his own 1600 in the shed I think SR turbo.

Anyway I found the rust I geuss you didn't have a welder when you did the rust repairs just lots and lots of silicone and Bog lol
The plan is to cut and plate all rust other wise being a gravel rally car it will fall apart in no time.

So its rust repaires at the moment and body prep, once that's done ill move onto welding in the roll cage.

So its been quite some time since my last vist and plenty has been done on the old girl lol
Roll cage is pretty much finished along with the chassic plating and rust repairs, I'll pop some pics up soon
As soon as I can work out how to upload them, I've done them before but this time its giving me the run around, bloody computers !!!!
