Tim, I ended up hole sawing a hole in the end of the sills. This was in the area that is inside the guard facing the wheel This was after I found a rubber bung (measured the diameter) to seal it from the mud being flung up from the front wheel. This hole was then used to spray Wurth cavity wax (fish oil can be used) all the way down the sill. I used the same trick on the rear wheel arch and drilled the same diameter hole. This allowed me to spray from the other direction. Worked a treat and it all drips out the bottom. Then plug the hole up with a the rubber bung to stop anything from getting in there. |

Noted, Where do I buy the wurth cavity wax from? There's soo many different products at auto paint stores, hard to know what's the best method/product to run with. I'm opening up the front passenger sill today, the last corner I need to do. |

I just used fish oil. Its good stuff also. Also, to make things a bit easier, grind off some of the gal coating before you weld. It'll help with reducing the porosity of your welds. Nicer on your lungs also! |

We get a wurth rep in if you do buy it in the can get the long spray hose aswell itl give you around an extra metre of reach. The wax isn't cheap but probably the best product on the market its clear and not brown like the cheap stuff so once dry it hardly noticeable like when you look into most european cars |

Nice build man. Don't want to sell the surge tank by any chance? Waited 3 weeks for the same one but didn't arrive ended up getting my money back. |

Inspirational build. Mine (like most) is rusted in the same areas. Good to see one apart and how it's been put back together to give me an idea of what I'm going to face. Keep up the good work. |
