Thought I would put a quick post up. I recently felt a revival in my feelings for the dattos, its been almost a decade since I left my 200B. Two months ago I sold my R33 and came across the 79' Stanza in dire need of a rescue. Now the project starts, she needs alot of work but with a little time and some of my work contacts it should all come along nicely. I have already picked up a freshly reconditioned L20B to replace the tired and faltering L18.

Nice one! Best of luck with the project. Are the plans for it to be road car or something a bit more serious?

There must be something in the air at the moment. I'm just starting a revival myself. Just posted a thread about pulling my 1600 out of the garage this weekend for the first time in quite a number of years!

It is planned to be road going with a bit of something different to make it truely mine. I am beefing up all the suspension as I go and there and as far as looks go it is gonna be a bit minimalist with all the original trimmings going and a complete interior overhaul including customer dash. In the long run this baby will end up being my endeavor rally car hence the beefed suspension, but for now I am just going to have fun with the build. So far including the car and new engine I have spent $1300, keep in mind the L20B is a HM engine setting me back $900. overall for this build I have a budget of about 10k.

So good to see another stanza being restored. Love these things!!
