Hi all i'm back, as some of you will know i use to be on this site as Dat810, but then sort off disappeared. I had some personal issues and ended up in a dark place. I never sold the datto it just go put to one side and neglected. I've had it almost 8 years now so am a little attached. But now i'm getting back into it and have a reliable and cheap daily driver now (Dont laugh i'm trying to save money). I'll start a new build thread with the plans when some more progress has been made, main problem is rust. And add the full story again. Here's a pic after a good scrub up. Note i have fixed the tail light area.

Welcome back :) I put mine aside for a bit as well, sometimes it needs to happen. But I'm getting back into it now. Post up some progress when you can, I always really liked yours. It looks like it has succumbed to rust since I saw it though :(

Thanks man. Diddent yours get defected, if so what happend with that. And yer rust sucks. I'm just patching it up with that fiberglass filler. Went crazy with the silcon putting the tail lights back in. Just so it doesent rust any more :( . And what do you think off the chrome wheels, a little better than the white ones.

Silicone won't stop rust. I believe it actually makes it worse. You wasnt mastic. I remember your car from back then.i think we all loose interest sometimes. I'm a tad bored of mine now.
